What About Remodeling Just a Shower?
We get a lot of requests to just convert a tub/shower to a stand-alone ceramic shower stall without changing the floor tile or vanity. This can be done but since the shower is the most complicated part of the bathroom (requiring, waterproofing, plumbing, ceramic tile work and plumbing fixtures) it typically costs between $10,000 and $13,000.
An alternative might be to install a Sterling fiberglass shower stall unit or use the solid surface product, Fibo wall board system. That could lower the costs to $7,000 to $10,000.
