Warm, Inviting Kitchen with Natural Wood and Timeless Detail

Warm, Inviting Kitchen with Natural Wood and Timeless Detail

Originating with a dated, cozy and collected kitchen, this remodel transformed into a bright, welcoming and highly functional space for everyday living. The kitchen once contained a small kitchen table and open shelf storage which made the room feel enclosed and cluttered. Due to the placement of an old radiator heater under the south facing window, options felt limited in that side of the kitchen. Our team redesigned the space by eliminating the radiator heater and raising the existing windows to allow cabinets on that side of the kitchen. We also removed an existing window looking out into the enclosed breezeway, creating new wall space for the range hood and stove.

The new GE Café Stainless Steel appliances fit beautifully into the updated design and felt intentional. The cook station is now the visual focal point, featuring an 18x30” tiled picture frame above the stove using Stone Impression’s Autumn Pearl Blanc 6x6 tile and Conestoga Tile’s Natural 3x6 tile backsplash. Emerstone’s D’Oro Quartz brings a warm and balanced contrast to Elias Custom Cherry Lacquered cabinets with shaker style doors. We incorporated Berenson’s Aspire Brushed Tin pulls and knobs. The entire palette is balanced, harmonious and calming. A Ruvati 30-inch Workstation Undermount 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink Single Bowl – RVH8310 was installed with a Moen Sleek Spot resist and MotionSense wave one-handle high arc stainless faucet.

The neutral wall color, featuring Sherwin William’s #9597 Western Reserve, balances the wood tones and enhances the room’s sense of openness. Thoughtfully designed open shelving units from Elias, improved the kitchen’s storage and organization. The reimagined breakfast seating brings functionality and style into perfect harmony. Two Rev-A-Shelf Lazy Susans and a Rev-A-Shelf half-moon pivotal and sliding blind corner unit were install for easy access. We replaced the old lighting with bright, efficient recessed fixtures to evenly illuminate the entire space. A Quoizel Grant 8" wide Brushed Nickel Opal White Glass Mini Pendant 7M441was installed above the sink.

A Mannington ADURA MAX Fresco in the Canvas color 12x24 tile LVT floor was installed in a half stagger pattern. Fresco harnesses the homeowners growing desire to connect with nature. Each 12x24 tile showcases ta distinctive limestone visual with raw imperfections with Mannington’s TumbledEdge™ technology and NatureForm® glaze.

The result is a stunning transitional kitchen that blends warmth, brightness, and modern sophistication. This space is now perfect for everyday family life.
