Outdoor Addition In York, PA
These clients already had an existing slate patio but lacked an overhead roof covering, the hot sun was a deterrent to enjoying the outdoors in the summer months. After discussion about the design it was decided that we build over the existing stamped concrete patio using the Trex, Enhance® composite decking in the Saddle color. A peaked roof was designed incorporating (4) Velux® non-operable skylights to allow sufficient light into the interior kitchen area. The cathedral ceiling was finished off using 8-inch wide tongue and groove pine and stained with a cedar stain by Sherwin-Williams. Pre-cast columns were installed to provide structure support and are also aesthetically please to the eye.
The existing stamped walkway was refinished that leads from the driveway to the back of the outdoor living space.
